90th Academy Awards – Rolex®

The WB Design Studio worked directly with Rolex to design and fabricate every element in this Greenroom for the 90th Academy awards. The event space includes a 70 ft long Lightbox which displayed large Lexan prints behind the room structure.

Tadashi Shoji

On this project the Design Studio team collaborated with the Tadashi Shoji corporate team to develop two custom 36 ft floor to ceiling perimeter wall cabinets. In addition to custom fixtures we also fabricated seasonal window displays.

Man of Steel Press Junket

In collaboration with WB Special Events team, WBDS help create venue environments for the “Man of Steel” press junket on Stage 23. Work from the Design Studio included grand format digital prints for front and back lighting and individual images printed on aluminum panels.

Batman vs Superman

Working with Warner Bros. Theatrical and Zack Snyder, the Design Studio designed several custom-built exhibits and vignettes on Stage 16. The press junket included a 30ft tall Superman that was sculpted by hand on a metal armature and scenically painted. The world famous WB Water tower was even wrapped with the #BatmanVSuperman logo.

WW84: Dallas

Practically every shop in the WB Design Studio contributed to the design and creation of this new exhibit in the AT&T Discovery Zone in Dallas. We also utilized expert talent found on the WB Lot including WB Construction, Grip & Set lighting to help bring the designs to life.
